Even though it won’t be feasible for several years for several reasons, I keep thinking about going back to 2 cars: a fun one and a practical/winter/utility one. I posted a while back about wanting to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I saw this FC convertible yesterday. I still like them.
The other crazy hypothetical option is to get a clean US market non-turbo FC convertible and swap in a cammed LS7. Yes, the C6 Z06 motor. Because a crazy all-motor high revving small block big block in an RX-7 convertible is a good idea.

It wasn’t long ago you could get a decent runner for under $3,000. I’ve seen prices creeping up, though.
But if you still want to look...
Charlotte’s only a 17 hour drive.

We seem to share the same idea as I too want to own a LS-powered FC vert one day! I’ll take mine in LS3 with an automatic so I can enjoy cruising it and not have to worry about my troublesome left knee stopping me from enjoying it.

I’m not seriously looking now but I feel like convertible prices will stay relatively low given how most FC buyers want them for drifting, swapping, etc and the fixed roof is more desirable to them.

I’ve also thought about LS3, but definitely not automatic.
